Live at Leeds in the Park 2023
A one day festival, forty artists, and five stages equals a day you won’t want to miss. Live at Leeds in Temple Newsam Park has landed in Leeds every year for the last sixteen years and will be back on May 27th this year. Two Door Cinema Club, Black Honey, Crawlers and Kate Nash are a few of the amazing selection of artists taking to the stage this spring. Unfortunately early bird tickets have sold out but there are plenty of general admission tickets left for £66 each. If you’re bringing along the whole family, under 5’s get to go free! Or pay £150.70 to gain access to Live at Leeds and Slam Dunk North the following day.
Slam Dunk Festival North
On the day after Live at Leeds, May 28th, Temple Newsam Park will be taken over by the UK pop-punk, emo, metal and alternative music festival Slam Dunk North. Their exciting lineup of alternative artists and bands include Enter: Shikari, Bowling for Soup, Creeper, Yellowcard, The Hunna and many more. The exciting selection will make choosing which stage to head to next a challenge. Gin & Rum Festival at Royal Armouries
If you are a connoisseur of fine and tasty alcohols, the upcoming Gin and Rum Festival hosted at the Royal Armouries. Taking place on June 10th at 12:30pm to 5pm, you get to spend your day tasting a wide variety of gins and rum. There are over one hundred and twenty gins and rums, tequilas, cocktails, samples and tasters you can get your hands on. Enjoy them in the fun and relaxing atmosphere with a DJ and live music making the vibe perfect for a day of drinking. Get your tickets for only £15 and get ready to have some fun!
Sausage & Cider Festival
At the Royal Armouries on May 6th, you can indulge in all the sausage and cider you want. The much loved Sausage and Cider Festival is returning to Leeds this year and it’s even better than ever before. This year you can expect to find a brand new range of ciders and some new, delicious flavours of sausage. Whilst there you can also enjoy some great live music and throughout the 12 – 5pm and 6 – 11pm sessions. Ticket prices start at £12.50 and range up to £25 with a £2.95 booking fee.
Great British Food Festival
The iconic food festival is returning to Leeds this year on the May Bank Holiday Weekend. The Great British Food Festival will be at Harewood House with food, music and drinks. A wide selection of activities and stalls will be available for you to explore including artisan markets, street food, chef demos, foraging walks, bars and so much more. You will never find yourself bored or looking for something to do with so many options surrounding you. Children under five get to go free and remaining tickets range between £5.60 and £37.60. Be prepared to fill your boots with all the delicious food on offer.
North Leeds Food Festival
Mark May 13th – 14th on your calendars because the North Leeds Food festival is coming to Roundhay Park. Delicious street food, live entertainment, artisan markets, live music, live roaming comedy acts, an inflatable land and even more. New to the festival are interactive sessions, expanded market variety, local produce, new resources, systems and satellite wifi to reduce queuing and some funky blue furniture and deckchairs to relax on.
