Leeds is full of so many incredible independent businesses and people, yet some of us are still unfamiliar with who they are and what they do. Some have been residents in Leeds for years while others are fairly new and became a part of the city when we were all locked away in 2021/21. So it’s time to get to know some of the people in Leeds and everything you need to know about their business. Introducing FINT…
FINT is a restaurant based in Leeds City Centre near Millennium Square, who pride themselves on their relaxed, comfortable atmosphere which serves a seasonal omni menu with some great lunch and brunch options during the day as well as an inspired evening menu.
They originally opened as Fettle just less than five years ago and over that time have been nominated for a number of food and drink awards including winning the Best Newcomer Award in 2019 ahead of some big names. After the hit of the multiple lockdowns, they took the decision to put the pandemic and Fettle behind them, rip it all out and start again with a fresh new restaurant with a more Nordic look and feel, and even more comfortable seats.
Situated towards the end of Great George Street, they’re a close walk from the shops and hidden away from the hustle and bustle of city centre life. They may not have the largest menu but there is certainly something for everyone as they focus on interesting flavours and great ingredients that pair perfectly together with their selection of drinks.
Everything on their menu is a bit more special, including their chai black rice porridge, jerusalem artichoke gnocchi and mulled wine fruit crumble. So whether you’re a vegan or following an omni diet, they’re the perfect place you need to try next.
