The Empire Cafe

 

For over 100 years The Empire Cafe has been feeding the people of Leeds from the corner of Fish Street. Here you can pop in for your brekkie, lunch or dinner with delicious food served all day long. Their menu is full of tasty options made with the best locally sourced, seasonal ingredients and served up with love and care. This historic and much loved spot is a must-visit in the city centre. 

 

Doh’hut

 

Hidden away in Trevelyan Square is Doh’hut, where you can find the best freshly made, traditional donuts in Leeds. Donuts are something that almost everyone loves, and Doh’hut are dedicated to bringing delicious donuts to everyone in Leeds. Their three distinct fillings are the raspberry jam, chocolate nutella ganache and the famous creme patisserie, all of which were tested until absolutely perfect. Sous le Nez

 

Sous le Nez can be found in the basement of Quebec House in the centre of Leeds and is the perfect location to escape the hustle and bustle of the city. On the A La Carte menu you are presented with an array of tasty dishes made using only the best ingredients. Choose from their wide selection of dishes including plenty of fish and shellfish starters, main courses with daily specials available in the restaurant, and plenty of dessert options to end on something sweet. Moose 

 

Head on over to Bond Court where you’ll find the authentic North American breakfast and brunch spot, Moose Coffee. They are bringing the American and Canadian approach to breakfast right here to Leeds with an array of comforting dishes. You are spoilt for choice with a wide selection of tasty options on the menu with vegetarian and vegan dishes also available. Delicious eggs benedict, freshly grilled sandwiches, pancakes, waffles and more are what you can expect when you look at their menu. Moose is a must visit spot to enjoy some tasty brunch and coffee whilst you catch up with friends. 

 

Fat Annie’s

 

Fat Annie’s can be found in the food court of the iconic Kirkgate Market where they serve up delicious food to the people of Leeds. After going meat-free in 2020, it also became a great spot for all veggies and vegans to find mouthwatering meat alternatives. Breakfast classics like the F.A. Breakfast Club sandwich, pancakes, waffles and more are the perfect way to start off your day. Or take a look at the main menu where you can find a range of hotdogs with German style franks, burgers, fries and sides. Their vegan shakes are also a tasty addition to your lunch. If you find yourself near Kirkgate Market when you tummy starts to rumble, pop in and treat yourself to something tasty.
