Alison and her talented team work with some of the best produce from around the world to create their delightful floral designs. The shop offers many beautiful premade bouquets, but if you’re after something a bit more personal Alison can also interpret your feelings into flowers to create the perfect gift for any occasion or recipient. Floral Expressions offers a selection of tempting treats and handmade cards to give with your flowers, or you can purchase a hamper that’s full of thoughtfully chosen goodies. You can also buy houseplants here. For those living locally, the shop is able to offer same day delivery on orders placed before 1pm.
Arts & Flowers, Crossgates
Situated on Austhorpe Road in Crossgates, Arts & Flowers is truly a family affair. The shop was purchased 45 years ago by Roy Lancaster and grew with the expertise and flair of his wife, Jenny. It’s now run by the couple’s daughter, Kirsti, with help from her daughters too. You’ll find an array of glorious seasonal blooms here. Arts & Flowers’ current offerings are bursting with colour – from the bright pink lilies and gerbera found in their Valentine’s bouquets to the lively yellows, oranges and purples of their spring arrangements. You can order floral designs for all occasions here, or pick up gifts like a hat box or a basket of flowers, which can be accompanied by a box of delicious Maison Fougere Belgian chocolates. The shop’s friendly team are always happy to get creative and can offer same day local delivery for orders placed before 2pm from Monday to Saturday.
Eden Bespoke Flowers, Horsforth
Eden Bespoke Flowers looks as pretty on the outside as it does within due to its imaginatively-themed window displays that change throughout the year. This modern florist’s shop is brimming with radiant blooms and leafy foliage, including potted flowers and houseplants, as well as a selection of boxes and ready-to-go bunches that make a perfect last minute present. Originally a freelance company, Eden evolved by popular demand to become the successful retail floristry business it is today. If you’re looking for something extra special, the experienced staff here can dream up designs that are truly unique. The shop is renowned for its elegant finishing touches, which include gorgeous co-ordinated gift wrap. You can even sign up to a subscription service here, through which you can have a bunch of flowers delivered weekly, fortnightly or monthly from £20.
Green & Field, Horsforth
Also based In Horsforth, this ‘botanical bazaar’ sells a range of fresh and dried flowers, along with plants, homeware and gifts, such as ceramic pots, macrame, scented candles, bath salts and more. Green & Field’s style is relaxed and rustic and their arrangements often blend complementary tones with contrasting textures. The shop’s stunning dried bouquets are made with blooms sourced from all over the globe and can last for a year or more, making them a low-maintenance option for those who love real flowers but don’t have the time to take care of them. You can also pick up cute mini jam jar arrangements here. Green & Field runs regular workshops like ‘drink and draw’ evenings, jesmonite coaster making and crochet. The shop also offers its own flower club subscription from £25 a month.
The Perfumed Garden, Chapel Allerton
Situated in the village-like suburb of Chapel Allerton, this independent, family-run florist’s is owned by Carole and her husband Robin. The shop has an inviting interior with natural wooden stands holding an array of colourful flowers and houseplants. You’ll also find a selection of cacti here, which make for a great, green gift to brighten someone’s day with. The Perfumed Garden recently gained an unusual claim to fame when it was transformed into the Forget Me Not florist for the filming of the new ITV drama ‘Platform 7’. As well as selling captivating bouquets and floral arrangements, this friendly flower shop also serves fresh cups of coffee to take away or enjoy on the picnic benches outside.
Adrienne Florist, Farsley
Residing in a picturesque stone building, Adrienne Florist stocks a selection of artistically designed bouquets, along with sophisticated botanical arrangements in wicker baskets and hat boxes. At present, the shop is abloom with spring colours and uplifting tulips and purple irises make a regular appearance. You’ll also currently find some eye-catching Valentine’s specials here, like the ‘Strawberry Sweetheart’ bouquet, which features exotic pink lilies, red spray roses and pink waxflower. Alternatively, if you’re struggling to choose from the shop’s pre-arranged bunches, you can pick a price option and the staff here will surprise you with a one-of-a-kind ‘florist’s choice bouquet’. You can then opt to accompany your gift with extras such as wine and Champagne, balloons or a card. Adrienne Florist offers same day delivery within Leeds for orders placed before 11am. The shop is also a member of Interflora, so anything bought here can be shipped nationally.
Chu’s Floral, City Centre
Chu started selling her expressive flowers from a stall on Kirkgate Market in 2021 before opening her own floral design studio in Great George Street. Her pretty and playful designs can now also be seen popping up in shops around Leeds. Chu says that her floristry style is focused on ‘the movement and flow of every bloom.’ She has a great eye for colour, crafting gorgeous pastel arrangements which are highlighted with deeper shades like cornflower blue or burgundy. Alongside fresh and dried flowers, the shop sells mini terrariums and Nordic-inspired vases. The studio also runs regular workshops, which are advertised on its Facebook page.
Pampas & Bloom, Farsley
Specialising in dried flowers, Pampas & Bloom is an online florist’s with a physical store in Farsley that’s open by appointment only. The shop sells tasteful and contemporary dried bouquets. You can create a minimal look with a bunch of fluffy bunny tails or palm fans, or opt for a glamorous mixed arrangement with the likes of eucalyptus, dyed pampas grass and delicate daisies. You can even accompany your flowers with a stylish vase. Pampas & Bloom also creates stunning custom installations – such as floral wall clouds – which are made with dried flowers for homes or businesses. If you’re planning to tie the knot in 2023, the shop offers dried wedding bouquets that can be kept and enjoyed for months after the big day.
