For a premium bar, The Liquorist cocktail prices are happily below premium. Hand-crafted delights, from a naughty Pornstar Martini to a classy Cosmopolitan, cost you only £5.95 almost all of the time. Head here anytime Sunday to Friday or before 5pm on a Saturday for a cheap and cheeky cocktail, perhaps accompanying their modern home-cooked food, in super smart surroundings.

Thewlis Cocktail Lounge

A decadent cocktail lounge that styles it out in white booths, dark wood and gold decor. You can be confident in the quality of cocktails here, and you might be surprised that the prices don’t match the opulent interior. Weekdays after 4pm and Saturdays 12-6 it’s two for £12 or two for £15 depending on your choice from the classic list that includes marvellous Margaritas, Mimosas and Mojitos. With pizzas on offer too, there are many great reasons to visit Thewlis.

East 59th

East 59th is a stylish bar and restaurant with a striking rooftop terrace. It’s perfect for sophisticated summer cocktails, and indeed an impressive visit all year round. The time to go right now is at six, when you can really add value in the Six at Six deal. This unique offer lets you create a cocktail made your way, selecting the spirit and then the colour of choice from six mixes. See you there on Tuesday to Thursday 6-7pm.

Cuckoo

You can’t miss this vibrant venue on Call Lane, and when you order your drinks you’ll be glad you didn’t. The bright outside continues into a colourful interior across five unique spaces. The crazy fun is enhanced by Cuckoo cocktails, and in particular their Fruit Bellinis which can be sipped down at 2 for £13. Also offering a free pizza with every drink before 9pm, the generosity here really is cuckoo.

Lazy Lounge

The quirky and quality bar Lazy Lounge has a healthy obsession with spirits, leading to an astonishing list of gins and whiskeys. When added to their cocktails, we’re treated to some masterful creations. You can sample these whenever you like as their two cocktails for £12 offer is always running. Come and get ginspired with a Negroni or whiskeyed away to a Manhattan.

Roland’s

This excellent understated bar on Call Lane is a winning visit any day and night, but the relaxed cool really suits a Sunday. Which is when you can enjoy Roland’s Bloody Mary Sundays. Every week you can revive with a world class Bloody Mary, Bloody Maria, or Red Snapper for just £6. Or for an extra 50p why not try something new – a Bloody Mary made with beer, called Micheladas, is a little different and lot delicious.

Headrow House

One of Leeds’ most popular bars might get even more popular when people discover their cocktail offer. Look past the excellent ale in the large beer hall and you’ll find some stunning cocktails available all day every day at 2 for £12. To be enjoyed anywhere across the hip four floors of this impressive building, including a large rooftop terrace.

Neon Cactus

A vibrant Mexican venue that serves terrific tequilas and tacos to a good time crowd. Tuesdays elevate the enjoyment even further, by delivering deals on both of these Mexican specialities.
