Located in the basement of Belgrave Hall, where an invitingly dark interior creates the perfect backdrop for its culinary theatrics, Teppanyaki in Leeds offers its guests the chance to have their own highly-skilled skilled personal chef for the evening. The experience is certainly adventurous but your food choices don’t have to be. The restaurant offers many familiar favourites like steak, chicken, seafood and fresh vegetables, all cooked in the traditional Teppanyaki style.
This December, groups visiting in the daytime can book a Christmas Light Lunch, which costs £28.95 per person and includes starters of miso soup and a chef’s salad, followed by your choice of meat accompanied by rice and stir-fried vegetables. You’ll also be able to enjoy a delicious dessert of either a choux cream puff, ice cream sundae or melon. Alternatively, in the evening, you can take your pick from six exciting seasonal set menus. These start at £39.50 per person and range from the Festive Seafood and Festive Veggie to the indulgent Festive Royale, which comes with meats including lobster tail, king scallop and fillet beef.
On Teppanyaki’s drinks list you’ll find Japanese beers and whiskies, as well as an extensive range of soft drinks and spirits. You can also celebrate with cocktails, mocktails or a bottle of fizz. The restaurant’s dress code is smart casual but as it’s the season to sparkle you can look forward to getting dressed up for a fabulous night of foodie fun.
