Having first opened its doors in 1994, Art’s Cafe is Leeds’ original cafe bar. It is one of the city’s favourite eateries, having built a reputation of offering a high quality and interesting menu.
Located on the bustling Call Lane, it’s relaxed atmosphere and friendly staff has made it popular destination for both lunch and dinner. The atmosphere is complemented by regular 6-weekly exhibitions of artwork by up and coming local artists.
The menu is seasonal and regularly updated with popular dishes including the pan roasted Holme farm venison haunch steak with kale in stout & bacon; and their spiced fillet of hake with carrot & lentil dahl & pickled cucumber.
In particular, Art’s Cafe is renowned for its impressive vegetarian options that are both creative and flavoursome in equal measure, such as the broccoli, sesame, soy & tofu spring rolls with satay sauce and roast white onion, celeriac & truffle linguini, with glazed smoked brie.
