The Brunswick are hosting a birthday bash on Saturday to celebrate two years since their doors first opened.
To mark the occasion, The Brunswick is getting a new lick of paint – with Modes Of Expression painting a beautiful bright mural on the exterior in time for the big day. On Saturday they will be giving out free t-shirts, selling their Brunswick pale ale for £1 a pint (winner) and most importantly – staying open until 1am so we can PARTY.
Co-Owner, Samuel Howarth said: “We’re an independent business and the people of Leeds have done a lot for us, so we just want to do this as a thank you for keeping us running. Thank you.”
The Brunswick started as an idea from four lads (Samuel, Nick, Matty and Sam) who all met working at the same bar. They wanted to create a place they would want to go to, with the main priorities: good food and good beer. The lads took inspiration from other bars around town and their thoughts merged together to create The Brunswick.
Samuel told us that he can’t believe it has been two years, but also can believe that at the same time. The gang put in such hard work and dedication to supply us with good local grub, top class beer and an environment full of positive vibes, which is why the people of Leeds love it.
So head on down, grab a pint (or sixteen) and have a wicked day celebrating. Happy 2nd Birthday to The Brunswick, with many more to come in the future!
