Growing up around the aromas of spices and the sounds of sizzling pans that filled his family kitchen in Southern India implanted the seed that would later blossom into the passion and drive his food thrives on today. Bobby grew up in a home where food was not just for sustenance but was also a part of his cultural heritage. Now Bobby draws on his childhood memories surrounding food, as well as the knowledge gained from his travels, when he’s in the kitchen. His culinary curiosity led him to explore diverse cuisines, resulting in a blend of traditional techniques with modern influences.

Bobby Geetha pushed his creativity to the limits when he took on the challenge of MasterChef Professionals in 2016, where he was a highly rated finalist. Bobby also made it to the semi-finals of the National Chef of the Year United Kingdom and was awarded Gold for the Hospitality Chef Excellence Award in 2018.

There are many other ways Bobby’s excellence and talent have been recognized. Awards won by Bobby include the Pro Chef Middle East Awards in 2018, the MasterChef UK Only South Indian Chef to Date award in 2016, and UAE Best Indian Chef in 2019.

After honing his culinary skills in many of the world’s best restaurants, including Noma, Bobby found himself drawn to the food scene in Leeds. After moving back to the UK during the pandemic, Bobby decided to open his own restaurant in the city.
